Ross Carter-Brown
Founder, GaiaOps
Ross Carter-Brown runs GaiaOps: ecologist by training, operator by trade. He trained as a scientist (a BSc in Ecology and Biodiversity, with co-authored published research from the Punakaiki Coastal Restoration Project), then spent years in operations, co-founding BitPrime in 2017 and running it as CEO for five years before leading New Zealand operations for Swyftx and building automation for professional services firms at Task Rescue.
Before founding GaiaOps he studied 48 environmental consulting firms and interviewed their operations leads. GaiaOps exists to fix the problem that research surfaced: firms that are excellent at the work and leaky at the demand that feeds it. GaiaOps is founder-led and deliberately small; if you work with GaiaOps, Ross is the one you will be working with.
